Arctic Glo White Nectarine Tree

Description

Arctic Glo White Nectarine Tree is for fruit lovers who appreciate brightness, complexity, and a little dramatic flair. Its smooth, dark red skin surrounds pale flesh streaked with deeper red near the pit, giving each sliced nectarine a striking jewel-toned appearance. The flavor is not the mild sweetness sometimes associated with white fruit: Arctic Glo combines ample sugar with a lively tart edge and plum-like overtones that make every bite vivid and refreshing. That bold personality is especially rewarding fresh from the tree, but it also brings depth to preserves, dried fruit, salads, and desserts. With showy spring flowers before the crop develops, Arctic Glo contributes beauty as well as flavor and offers home orchardists a nectarine that is genuinely different from ordinary supermarket selections.
Arctic Glo needs 400–500 chill hours and is suited to USDA zones 4–9. On Citation rootstock it remains semi-dwarf, and its late-June to early-July harvest in Central California opens the stone-fruit season.
This variety is self-fruitful and can produce by itself. A compatible nectarine or peach nearby may encourage pollinator activity and support fruit set.
