Autumn Royal grape vine details

Plant form: One dormant bare-root grape vine

USDA hardiness zones: 7–10

Pollination: Self-fruitful; a second grape variety is not required for fruit set

Harvest: Late season, generally early to late fall; timing varies with climate

Pruning: Spur prune during dormancy and train on a sturdy trellis or wire system

Fruit: Large, generally seedless, purple-black berries with firm, crisp flesh

Planting and care
Select a warm full-sun location with at least seven to eight hours of direct light and soil that drains well. Install permanent support at planting. Water deeply during establishment and as needed through the growing season without keeping the roots saturated. Annual dormant pruning is required to maintain productive fruiting wood and an open canopy.

Harvest and shipping notes
Allow the berries to reach full flavor on the vine because grapes do not continue to ripen after harvest. A dormant bare-root vine may arrive leafless; this is normal. Late-season ripening, color, and crop size depend on local heat, weather, vine age, pruning, and care.
